Pocket Pivot Terms of Use

Terms for using Pocket Pivot as a spending-awareness tool.

Use of the app

Pocket Pivot helps you review spending patterns, calendar heatmaps, and factual local summaries from transaction data you choose to connect. You are responsible for deciding whether the app is suitable for your own use.

Read-only banking

The first release supports direct, read-only access for bunq Pro and Elite customers using their own personal API key. Pocket Pivot does not initiate payments, move money, open accounts, issue credit, or provide banking services.

No financial advice

Pocket Pivot is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Pattern insights are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Availability

Other banks are not active connection options in the first release. Existing Enable Banking or Plaid material from an earlier version may remain dormant until deleted, but Pocket Pivot does not refresh or exercise those connections. Features may change, pause, or be removed, and bunq may change API availability or limit accessible history.

Refreshes and notifications

Background refresh and notification delivery are best effort and may be delayed, deferred, or unavailable because of device settings, iOS scheduling, network conditions, bunq availability, or notification-provider delivery. A notification or scheduled task is not a guarantee that transaction data is current. Use the app’s freshness information and manual refresh when current data matters.

Data completeness

bunq may delay, omit, duplicate, recategorize, or limit transaction history. Pocket Pivot views and calculations are only as complete as the history available to the app.

Your personal API key

Keep your personal API key confidential, create it only through the bunq app, and revoke it through bunq if you no longer want Pocket Pivot to connect. Never email the key to Pocket Pivot support.
